That's why I'm here. Family is incredibly close. My kids see both grandparents and cousins on both sides
daily.
I probably would have done the same if we were living in Texas or Wyoming and had family within walking distance.
I most likely sacrificed a more lucrative career for such a move, but the sacrifice is worth it to me.
If I had to move, I'd pick the San Juan area of Colorado though.
