Sorry to hear that.
I had one stolen in Shreveport, LA. Reported it to the police and nothing. Two months later I saw in on the front page of the newspaper with a Shreveport police officer riding it in a new security program for the State Fair. Found out they had recovered it one week after it was stolen. They made no effort to contact me. They told me I could pick it up after the fair was over in about a week. I said I was calling the newspaper and TV stations and telling them my bike was stolen by the Shreveport Police Dept. and I have front page evidence. I picked it up that evening.
