Is there a movie that you had super low expectations for, or knew nothing about, but came away very impressed?

Two that come to mind for me:

Batman Begins. Saw a preview for it right before my mission and thought it looked dumb. I was also sick of superhero movies (in 2005 - you can only imagine my feelings now) and never liked Batman. A few weeks after my mission finished I was bored at my parents’ house and put on the DVD. It was awesome and completely different than every other super hero movie I’d seen before.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Didn't know much about it and hadn’t seen any ads/previews, but thought it would be a dumb kids movie based on the ride. Was taken by my family and thought they did a great job on the 1st and it made for a legitimately entertaining movie. (Not so for the sequels)

Not a RomCom guy but I also admit I came away from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and When in Vegas having liked them and thinking they were really funny.

Not my favorite movies, but the biggest delta between my expected and actual enjoyment of the movie.
