Of conditioning. And yes if they sometimes do extras for punishment for penalties, teams rules broken, fighting, etc.

The BYU offense did 38 up-downs after practice today according to one player. There are sets of up-down punishments as a type of conditioning after practice. Then the WR’s did what looked like an additional 40-50. Incredible. It’s accountability in View
