Then yanked Hill after 4 innings in his first WS start. He also decided against using Alex Wood in game 7, even though he didn't give up a hit in his game 4 start and it was clear that Darvish was tipping pitches in his first start. A lot of good his saving those arms did. Dave couldn't handle the big stage and choked away 3 of the 4 games they lost in the WS with his boneheaded moves. He's not as bad as Don Mattingly (probably nobody is), but he's a below average manager.
