I think it is a hilarious story looking back. I mean who asks a bunch of 15/16 yr olds to do nearly 500 down ups? That coach was so weird. He got canned that year for his coaching methods. Oddly enough, I was called by the school district while I was at BYU asking questions about my thoughts on him as a coach as they were considering hiring him again.

Our stupid NT had a facemask and 2 unsportsmanlike penalties for bad language. We still won by like 50 points that game but man di we pay for it. We were all in a big circle next to the school after film study. If the coach had his back to some of the kids they would try to either stay down or not go down by the next time he blew his whistle. Good time. haha.
