Hollola Walk-on
You just broke rule #3 for this board.

It says don't be a jerk, and that is exactly what you did in your post.

I am a 65 year old LDS man that lives in Wyoming and I graduated from UW (I also have an MBA from Daniels College (Univ. of Denver).  I have been to many UW-BYU games over the years and frankly I think that much of the stuff that you spread about urine and threats are a bunch of lies, as nothing was said during or right after the games about this stuff, and there were no police reports and big disruptions during the games and nothing came up in the newspapers and I saw nothing like this while being in the stadium and no one I have spoken of has observed any behavior like this.  These stories just started coming much later.  I know the BYU cheer that the students did at UW, and frankly I am embarrassed about it.  But I remember one football player from BYU who was flagged for spitting in guys faces during games, and another famous BYU player that said the only reason he would stop in Laramie is if his fan belt broke.  I have been to games in Provo and frankly it wasn't a pleasant experience, so BYU fans have nothing to crow about.  Laramie years ago was behind many places in the ways of restaurants, hotels, etc., but things have changed greatly.  I do have to add that I have argued with some my own Wyoming fans about the attack on the religion because that has nothing to do with things. But also in the same note, BYU fans are your own worst enemies, truthfully, as you guys are incredibly arrogant and laugh about it think that it is funny and in many ways you embarrass me that we belong to the same church.  What does it say about being humble in the scriptures?  Many of you seem to have forgotten that. Am I excited about rekindling the rivalry?  No.  But I do feel that you will find a much different Laramie and Wyoming football program that many of you know.  I hope that maybe some of what I say sinks in, because it is not just in Laramie that BYU and their fan base are so disliked.  Secondly, if you really feel that you are going to a P5 conference, I find that difficult to believe as if you guys were going to do it, it would have already happened, but LGBT and Racial Groups will make any application to join a P5 conference too hot for the P5 conference to accept. Let's begin a new rivalry I suggest, one that people can be proud to call each other a competitor, not a hated rival.
