My parents, siblings, cousins, and in laws are not BYU sports fans. Ty Detmer converted me to the joy of BYU football in 1990, but it’s hobby that’s been mine alone. My daughters will occasionally attend with me but are not passionate about sports, despite my best efforts. So I’ve never had those special bonding experiences that many of you have enjoyed via BYU sports. I can’t imagine how cool it must be.
