I thought he simply saying that it wasn't the same BYU team both games - which is something often said when a team plays very poorly one week and very well the next. They weren't the same team.

But I could be wrong.

To put things into context - this same PAC12 analyst has also said that he thinks P5 schools should ONLY play other P5 schools. So for him to follow up on that by continuing to look down on anyone who isn't a P5 shouldn't surprise anyone.
