That would not surprise me
In today's NFL a RB is just not that valuable. Yes, I realize he can catch the ball. But spend your money on an elite QB and an elite WR over an elite RB. The Patriots win every year with some bargain basement rb.

I get why he's doing it. I don't see why the Steelers won't pay tbh.

Because running backs aren’t that valuable

They would be likely to pay if his backup didn't come out and

Had 1 good game and one meh game. Plus Bell does a lot more than Connor and
Dillinger

The meh game had much more to do with the game flow than Conner's

I agree. But to say Connor can do what Bell can do is silly.
Dillinger

Nobody said that. Another silly thing would be to pay Bell 20x more than his

Well the Steelers are 0-1-1 ... Who knows if Bell would have been the difference
Dillinger
9/18/18 11:47am
Unless Bell can kick a FG in the rain AND play defense against Kelce
CougsBeatU

Maybe, maybe not. Whole game could be different with him. Might not have come
Dillinger

Wants a long deal with a lot of guaranteed $$, not 1 year franchise crap.
Dillinger
9/18/18 11:41am
Of course he does. And most teams don't feel motivated to offer that to RB's.

Each of them are looking out for #1 so I don't blame either side really.
Dillinger

I understand his side, I also understand the Steelers side

Could be to preserve his body before free agency.

Preserving your body at the expense of showing you are a locker room divider

Maybe true but, teams care more about performance. Locker rooms in the NFL are
