McNeese St, idk nuffin about their D. I agree with you, so much about coaching & playcalling was great. And Wisc prepared as if running down the ball down our throats was 100% guaranteed. FB such a mental & psychological game. We like to talk about skill players & speed, but execution, very good coaching, and a team that believes and is having fun is key to better programs over time. Captain obvious I guess.

I don’t think BYU is so far away from being a top 25 program. OL, DL & other recruitment strengths is within reach. I’d say, a very good OL is the main diff for the lack of success vs Utah, because it’s always an emphasis of Kyles teams, and there is no overcoming inadequate line play & depth. It’s why it’s so baffling/frustrating for many Y fans that see subpar U offenses, diff OC every year, & yet totally have flipped the script vs us. It’s not some major talent differential that can’t be overcome imo, it’s simpler, yet def not easy, obviously. If Sitake can fix OL & improve DL depth & run stop, he’ll be successful at BYU imo
