Now that I think about it more, Gonzaga mostly played a bunch of nobody WCC
teams to run up their home winning streak, while Wisconsin mostly played a bunch of nobodies to run up there non-conference home win streak. But each individual regular season game in college football is more important than each individual regular season game in basketball, so that is an advantage for the Wisconsin streak as well.
Since 1 loss can knock a team out of CFP contention, the 41 game home win streak was important.
