Sources close to the team tell me that Gavin Baxter came in a very close second to Jashire Hardnett in team sprints at the Marriott Center Annex a few days ago. Gavin's mother, Angela Baxter, was a world class sprinter at BYU who held the school's women's 200 meter record for 26 years. See below for more information on Angela.

In addition to Gavin's remarkable speed for someone who is 6'9", he has a 39-inch vertical and a 7'3" wingspan.
