My Ute friend said in August the following (pretty much word for word):

Friend: With how it sets up for Utah this year I could see Utah playing pretty much their 2nd and 3rd stringers only for the BYU game in November.

Me: Oh, really. Why?

Friend: There is a good chance Utah will have locked up the Pac-12 South. They won't want to risk injuries prior to the Pac-12 Championship game.

Me: silence (thinking: Hmm, we'll see.)

I don't blame him for dreaming. We all do it. Unfortunately, reality usually says otherwise.
