I was worried about it too, so I started tracking it daily and a pattern

appeared. Smoke blows in with a SE wind from 9PM until noon. Then around noon to 3 the SW winds kick in and push it east and the valleys clear until 10PM. It did this for 5 straight days. I knew I'd be fine today. Sure enough like clock work it cleared out by 3PM.
