Going into the game we had the 112th best offense in total yards. Held to < 300
total yards once again yesterday (by an FCS team ranked 46th in FCS defenses), so we now surely have a legitimate bottom 10 offense, 4 games into the season.
Absolutely incredible that we're ranked with this kind of production.
Luckily, we've "done enough to win" during this stretch. Our running game has been acceptable, but not really dominant. No question with a real passing game our running game would be that much better and has the potential to be dominant. But bottom line, we're not going to keep getting away with winning the tough games ahead when we can't generate at least 300 yards of total offense on a consistent basis.
