Got it with global entry. Half the time it doesn’t make a difference in time more than anything I like not having the hassle of removing my laptop, taking out liquids, shoes off, etc.

There are a few times (looking at you Denver airport) where I would have missed my flight without it.

But after getting it and seeing how it works I immediately got it for my wife. Flying with 3 young kids, including stroller, a kindle each (which now have to be removed from the backpacks) etc, and all the gear made going through security a huge hassle and extremely stressful for her (she often flies without me). I would have spent $1000 on it for her.
