I saw one of my friends post a picture to the Humane Society‘s website, the Humane Society‘s original post was “post the last picture you took of your pet. “I instinctively posted a picture of my child. There were numerous comments how we were posting pictures of our pets not our children. I then posted that since so many of the people on there think of their pets as children why can’t I think of my children as pets? There are numerous disparaging comments .
