Since you keep beating the dirty utes, maybe we'll go easy on you & let you win.
Obviously there's a reason you're favored by 17 points, but then again, Wisconsin was favored by even more. We're still recovering from 4-9, our worst season in 50+ years, so there's lots of room for improvement on this team:

- Our O is still somewhat anemic, especially the passing game, although the O-line is solid-- we're not going to win any shootouts, like BYU teams of old. Our senior QB has learned to avoid stupid mistakes for the most part, and he has played in enough big games and hostile environments now that he doesn't get rattled. We have a decent stable of RBs, but the best one has been injured lately — it will be tough to beat a team like Washington without him.
- Our D is excellent and very physical, but can struggle with speedsters and very accurate passers — luckily, I don't see Browning as being all that accurate this year, to be honest.
- Special teams are probably our strongest unit this season, and could very well be the key to a BYU victory.

I like that we're getting Washington after a tough stretch of games for you guys, with 3 tough, physical games in 4 weeks. Meanwhile, we finally got a bit of a break with an FCS team last weekend — hopefully this means you'll be a bit more worn out that we are.

I think our opportunity on Saturday is to play mistake-free football — no turnovers, few penalties and not in key situations, and no big plays given up. If we can also cut down on the dropped passes, and if our RB Squally Canada is healthy, then it'll be a close game, and we might be able to pull it out in the end. If these things don't happen, then it probably will be a relatively easy win for you guys.
