The Aggies are by far the best cultural fit in their new conference amongst those who departed. The Big 8 teams are all fish-out-of-water in their new conference homes. Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri belong with their Big 8 peers. I was unsure if Nebraska might somehow find a way to fit in amongst the B1G, but after watching for a few year and then watching the Colorado game this year, its clear where their passions truly are. Fans don't make conference decisions, nor do athletic directors. That's a shame because those teams fit together like glove.

I don't want the Aggies to return to the Big 12, and I imagine the feeling on the other end is mutual. If there is an old-SWC team that has faded in the limelight since leaving and would stand to benefit from playing in the Big 12 again, it isn't A&M but Arkansas.
