5 reasons why BYU wins this Saturday
Hey Coug fans!!! Looking forward to visiting Seattle this weekend. Can't wait to drink root beer and pretend to tailgate with y'all (seriously, y’all?!? I’m from Texas, but I’ve never said y’all much less typed it)! My tailgate will be the one with the big faded blue flag (was navy, starting to look more royal now, just 10 more years and it should be there) with the stretch Y logo on it. Come stop by.

Anyway, our Cougs are legit national title contenders this year (WE WANT BAMA! NO WE DON’T…BAMA IS KILLING EVERYONE) so here’s 5 reasons why I like our COUGS to win.

1. Tanner “The Gunslinger” Magnum. He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has 4 years of high school and 3.25 years of college under his belt and will do whatever it takes to manage the game. In a word: CLUTCH!

2. Offensive Line. We average a weight of 303 across the line, and they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Christensen, Saleapagan, Empie, Hodge, Hoyte, etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble!!!

3. Grimes. A new offensive scheme and a new attitude. Everyone is speaking out about the difference 2017 and 2018. You will see a much improved offense on 9/30.

4. Speed, speed, speed. this is the fastest team BYU has had this millennium! Ok, so maybe it’s not, but we haven’t been run out of any stadium yet, so there’s that. The newbies will be inexperienced but we bring a new dimension that the program has not had in years...SPEED, at least I hope this is the case.

5. Time of possession. I think we can win the time of possession battle in this one. the more we can control the ball and keep our defense off the field, the greater chance we’ll have to win.

I think BYU wins this one rather easily, say… 34-17??? Or if I’m being hopefully realistic, 27-24. Ok, we likely lose this game, but one can dream, right?
