The response was to the statement that it was ALL Tanner's fault. The usage isn't odd at all.
No one (I've heard) says that all the problems are on Tanner. The idea is that trying a new QB may help alleviate some problems. We know what we're getting with Tanner and it isn't working. Of course it could get worse as well, but most are wanting to take that chance.
