Thing is, fans boo for different reasons. Coaches/players seem to take "boos" as it was NOT intended at all!
They speak of it as though it was a direct assault on their play or on them, but that so clearly wasn't the case this last Saturday, as everyone was booing the specific play call. As impatient fans, we wanted to score now, not wait another series! But of course no one seems to talk to the reality of it, but this made-up non-reality of what happened...
If Shelton trotted out there to receive the punt and there were boos heard because he was going onto the field, then at least the fans, that time, we're jerks... But that simply wasn't the case AT ALL this last time...
