I started going consistently my senior year. Front row seat, get to participate in half time activities, chat up the cheerleaders, the players start to recognize you and appreciate you. It was fun.

Couldn't bring myself to heckle the opposing team though. Didn't feel right. I would usually just yell their names to try and throw them off.
