him as a QB, we just don't have the room. I have watched him play 7-8 times this year, and wouldn't describe him as freaky athletic. Freaky athletic is a Britton Covey type player. He has good speed and has the ability to shake a defender, but so do lots of WR's byu could recruit and they actually play the WR position. Who knows if he would be able to be an efficient WR or even catch the ball. We are going to have a very small recruiting class this year so I just don't think they roll the dice on him when there are a lot of holes that need to be filled. Maybe a preferred walk on. I would love to have him at BYU but I just don't see BYU offering a scholly.

I don't want anyone to think I am a hater of Boone. I just don't see a spot for him. He will play somewhere for sure, and I hope its as a QB not a WR.
