I see your passion for your point, but there's no proof in your pudding for me. So yes, I'm saying making a player run an extra 20 yards means nothing to me. Doesn't prove passion (to me). Doesn't prove discipline (to me). Doesn't prove anything except the coach asked them to run an extra 20 yards. 

I'm okay with your disagreement. There's no argument here. Just don't agree with your reasoning and what it means. If you were a coach and you required this of your players, I would hope it would be a wonderful decision and outcome for your team.
