If Alabama played 12 FCS teams they’d still be the best team despite playing nobody. If the only argument in favor of them being bad is who they have beaten, it is a weak argument. If the backup argument is a last minute loss on the road to a ranked Big Ten team is the biggest argument, it still isn’t much.

They haven’t played anybody good, but they blew out everybody but Wyoming and have the number one scoring offense in football. Any team playing any schedule ranked 1 in offense is a good enough team to beat a mid level pac team.

I’m not saying they beat Utah or blow them out. Just that you’re too dismissive of USU (not even delving into being overly optimistic of Utah)
