BYU player make that catch in years. This program is finally accepting the fact that it is okay to throw the ball downfield--of all the criticisms this is #1 for me. Cowardice.
The staff has seem paralyzed with fear that if they "waste" a single down on a deep ball then there's no way the offense is going to pick up the 1st down. I absolutely despise that wussy mentality. This team is good enough to pick up first downs behind the chains, after penalties, in spite of drops, etc. If only the coaches would unleash the offense and let it be what it is supposed to be: a throw first, run to keep them honest offense. That is real BYU football, Kalani.
