It's a new drug that is injected 1x a month. After a bunch of rigamaroll, they are sending me my first dose to try thursday. I've heard mixed results, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Without insurance it's something like $1500 a month, and my insurance won't cover it yet, so they are sending me 2 months for free to try. If the stuff works, I'd pay 5 times what they are asking. Fingers crossed.
