I was in a graduate program at the U in the social sciences.

Students and professors alike REGULARLY beat the drum of all of the awful things that the LDS religion was doing and how it was hurting people, taking others rights, etc.

In fact - it got to the point that one of the regular students in the undergrad program complained to the dean, and a letter was required to be read in EVERY SINGLE CLASS specifically addressing harassment of students based on religious beliefs and bashing the LDS church.

I'll admit that things got better - for a time. And then the comments started being more along the lines of innuendo as far as the student or professors beliefs regarding the LDS church.

Admittedly - this was more than 15 years ago. Perhaps things have changed. I'd be surprised if they have.
