Another P5 win would help UCF with the Selection Committee.
FWIW, FAU had 11 wins last year and was supposed to be good this year. So, two ACC teams plus FAU and an FCS payday game would have been better than pretty much any other G5 OOC schedule and most P5 OOC schedules.
They also lost their opportunity to play Georgia Tech last year, because of weather during hurricane season...which would have give UCF a second P5 win in 2017...which would have helped in the Selection Committee beauty contest.
