My late friend and BYU grad, and Navy reservist, spent two weeks on Adak.
He brought me back an Adak t-shirt that looked like a Hard Rock Cafe shirt but it said Cold Rock.
Over the years I got a few comments from guys who had served there when I would wear it. The best one was from a guy who just said "Adak, Alaska where there is a woman behind every tree".
