No they didn't because the playoff hasn't happened yet. The committee's job is to select the 4

best teams based on the entire season's body of work. Alabama and OSU have both gotten in without even playing in their conference championship games. Georgia played toe-to-toe with the team that the committee has thus far said is #1 so it stands to reason that they could feasibly say that Georgia is one of the 4 best teams.
