Seriously, why do defensive coach rush just 3 players at times? Having watched
a fair amount of football recently, I rarely, if ever see it work successfully.

Lots of team apparently like to rush 3 at times and almost every time it backfires. Almost every time it seemed like the QB had ample time and was eventually able to find an open receiver.

I can understand doing it in specific situations. But doing it on a regular basis as your base pass rush seems 100% idiotic ( 2nd half vs Utah?).

If anything I learned that rushing 4 and regular and varied blitzes are far more effective.
