Dumb. We have a cat that catches mice pretty much every day in the field behind our house. But yesterday I saw a mouse

Stop feeding him. You got to keep the hunters hungry.

Cats don't take orders from people.

We started using those sticky traps. 75 in a box or so. Have been surprised how well they work in the garage.

I found the best mouse trap is the live ones you see outside stores/businesses.

I'm not sure I understand the kind of trap you mean. Do you have a link?

Would you rather go hunting in the “wild” or your garage?

I'm sure the dynamics of your garage make it more difficult for your cat to hunt

For sure. The mouse could stay under that fridge for days probably and the cat couldn’t get him

That makes for more interesting Tom and Jerry episodes.

just be glad you dont have rats. They are much harder to deal with than mice

We have a dog that keeps the mice away. Dogs are loyal to people.

This is because cats never do anything of value for people.
