As I have said 100 times
Nothing is going to happen with a satellite deal until they see cancellations. I think the rumor this past week that the deal was imminent postponed cancellations.

Now that people can't watch tape delayed, I expect a lot of cancellations. Comcast will be overwhelmed. If they are smart, they will hire every temp they can to get people switched before the satellite companies catch a clue at the revenue loss that they are going to incur (if people change). I don't think the satellite companies have any clue how many additional subscribers (the former out of state ESPN game plan subscribers) they will get if they add MTN.

Cancel Dish/Direct now if you have an alternative! (P.S. that was the motivation for no KBYU delayed broadcast - did it work?)

The satellite companies have determined that potential subscription losses from not carrying the MTN are not significant enough to pay the asking price. CSTV played the trump card and cancelled the delayed broadcast. Collectively, we play the next card. Will there be enough cancellations to get satellite's attention?

My problem is that I want to see the four games on CSTV and Versus, but I am holding out on my subscription to satellite until they get the MTN. I have two weeks max before I need to order - the TCU game is the first on CSTV - right?
