Right. And why do you want the compressor to run when the freezer
is already freezing? The point of the device is to freeze the stuff inside. Mission accomplished.

Put it against the interior wall. My garage door button has a temp gauge on it. Its also on the interior wall

Because pure water freezes at 32 degrees but add a solute and it does not. ie many frozen items need a temperature less
