He's definitely a rotation player next year even if he's not shooting well from 3.
I wouldn't count his JC shooting since the level of competition and role for him were very different. He's in his second year and still struggling to shoot.
He was better than emery yesterday simply because he didn't force anything and did a slightly better job on D.
I am admittedly hard on guards that don't shoot well since the two things I value above all else offensively are shooting and passing. He doesn't do either one particularly well but at least he still provides value driving to the basket and with his overall quickness.
I take it easy on Harding since he's a freshman and provides more versatility. But at some point he's going to need to shoot better than 26% from 3 and I suspect he will be a bit better in that regard moving forward.
If hardnett comes back next year he will still have a big role.
