I’m guessing that’s why he’s transferring. I think he thinks the byu coaches don’t believe in him and he was unlikely to start and wants to go somewhere where he’d have a better shot at starting.

This said not sure it’s a good decision since he already redshirted and will lose a year of eligibility by transferring, and I’m sure would have at least seen more PT at byu even if not the starter. Certainly has a history of bailing which so far hasn’t yielded any PT.
