She’ll still be guilted into helping out though. This way the mom can see the
true cost of what she’s asking. The mom can at least appreciate it. On top of that the daughter can add value to herself and a career as well as make more money and help her mom all at the same time. For the daughter this seems like an all around win. If she’s concerned about not spending as much time with her brother/ not building as much of a relationship with him, she can take care of her a few evenings a week, which would be welcomed by almost any single mother I know.

Or she can just say your on your own mom, but if it were me I’d try my best to help.
