I've spent 10 years trying to educate my wife and her family on this.
They're big on giving socks, toothpaste, coats, etc. as Christmas presents. Practical gifts. And don't get me wrong, some of those things can be awesome.
But, come on, don't give me socks and a tube of toothpaste and tell me that you put even an ounce of thought into it.
