If you verbally commit to a school, you don't take visits to other schools
If this guy takes an OV to Utah, then he really hasn't committed to BYU. I don't know how it is in college D-1 football recruiting, but in D-1 baseball recruiting, if a kid verbally commits to a school, other schools generally will not talk to the kid out of respect for the commitment. Saw it first-hand with my own son. Once my son verbally committed, coaches for other schools told my son point blank we will not talk to you since you verbally committed to another school. Verbal commitments are taken very seriously in baseball recruiting. Again, don't know how it is in football though.
