It was worse because he is at a small private christian school. But most recruiters only leverage strength of competition as a small piece of the pie. They want to see teachable fundamentals more. If he has a foundation they can fix how he plays against strength of competition.

I would also argue even his level of competition was on par with the majority of the HS levels in Utah. Yes, Bingham/EAST/AF?CC are good but 3 out of 4 would be smoked against the best competition here in Bama. Hoover,Hewitt and Thompson would all run circles around those schools. The 3 schools I mentioned all had multiple 5 and 4 star recruits on their teams. My point is it's all relative to the area. I would bet Seth would either start or have heavy playing time on the 3 I mentioned.

He is talented but because of the school he played at he really never got the push for recruiting that the guys at the bigger schools do.
