About half way through (it's crazy long and half of it has nothing to do with the story).
A couple of things I've learned that would have made it a very bad choice for a musical (if not changed, which they were):
In the musical, Fantine sells some cheap jewelry and her hair. In the book, she sells her front teeth. I'd love to hear front-toothless Anne Hathaway sing I dreamed a dream.
Teenage Eponine has a raspy deep voice and sounds like a man.
I'm glad some productions don't stick to the books.
