Why do people write good things about movies online? It's highly doubtful
anybody involved with the movie is ever going to read it. We do it to share our feelings about the movie with others, because we're excited about it and liked it, or because we didn't like it. I see no problem with group applause after a movie. It's a way for people in that group to say to each other, that movie was fantastic and I liked it.
