I'm hiring a lot of people right now. Early career database management, HD automotive data research type roles...
I am looking for people in the entry level with database management abilities (lots of work in Excel, Access (teachable if needed), and sql DBs with a GUI interface built on top). Definitely interested in recent grads or early career folks. Roughly $50k

The Catalog Analyst will drive the creation of the databases and data tables used by our Marketing Team, e-commerce Department, and Field Sales Associates for their publishing, sales, and customer service activities. This role will require an ability to work with external data suppliers and our internal subject matter experts to build the databases and data tables from the ground up using the information they provide.

Essential Tasks

-Research and document specific attributes of heavy-duty automotive and equipment parts, partner with subject matter experts in retail locations and distribution centers to learn about parts and equipment uses.
-Research vehicle applications for heavy duty automotive parts and build database to feed year/make/model/engine searches.
-Compile interchange and cross-reference data for heavy duty applications.
-Research functional equivalent products based on technical specifications when needed.
-Ensure timely and thorough review of assigned catalog data feeds from vendors.
-Verify that the content of vendor catalog data feeds meet expectations and correct issues with urgency.
-Act as the attribute and data expert for Marketing and e-commerce teams on assigned projects.
-Respond to requests from subject matter experts relating to data integrity.
-Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet overall project deadlines

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a Quantitative Field of Study from an Accredited Institution

Professional Experience

1-3 years' experience manipulating large data sets
Expert using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience a plus.
Knowledge of A.C.E.S. and P.I.E.S. standards, experience in the automotive or heavy-duty equipment industries a plus
