He looked like a friend from my junior high and high school years. He's a great guy who never gave anyone trouble. He was on the sophomore basketball team at Murray High School. He was a starter at the beginning of the season. His teammates called him Bent Nosed Bob and apparently teased him constantly. He lost all confidence and couldn't even get off the bench by the end of the year.
One of his teammates was Doug Chapman who put on a million pounds and played for the Utes years later. I won't throw him under the bus though. Doug seemed like a great guy and probably wasn't part of the problem.

So what does that have to do with Pippen?
Well, my friend looked like a cross between Larry Bird and Scotty Pippen. I can't see either of them without thinking of my friend getting heckled on the basketball court.....
All right. I admit that I also wanted to share that Pippen looks like a guy who was nicknamed Bent Nosed Bob.
