They were building a big performance facility here at The University of North Texas,
in the late 1990s. The university was looking for someone to purchase the naming rights and I mentioned that to Dad one day when he was visiting.
He wanted to name it Cougar Stadium.
If he had the money I have little doubt that it would have happened.
