It's probably a little steep, but his fit next to Rudy and Donovan is pretty ideal.
And where else are they going to use their cap space? They basically have two more years to offer big money to a third player before they are paying both Rudy and Donovan on max contracts and stuck in MLE/borderline luxury tax land.
I would personally rather him than Middleton, but also think that Otto Porter is a good fallback. He's locked in for two more years around $25 million (also a little steep). However, there is an argument he is the same type of player as Harris, but just needs to get on the right team that would use him correctly. If the Jazz can find 12-18 shots a night for their PF, I'd rather Porter or Harris than Crowder/Thabo taking them. And the drop-off on defense appears to be pretty minimal in the advanced stats since Rudy raises all boats substantially.
