My wife and I discussed it and we decided she should work 3 days a week, because there was no real point or value to her staying home, especially with the kids in school.

I understand why women stay home when they have little education and cant make a decent living, or their family is wealthy, or when kids are young (pre-school). But it seems beyond silly that women stay home when all the kids are in school when they could actually contribute financially to the family. Not sure why anyone needs 40 hrs of personal time a week.
